What We Believe We believe the scriptures are the infallible Word of God given for the purpose of directing man to salvation. There is no other name except Jesus Christ by which men can be saved. Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. We believe salvation is the gift of God through grace and faith in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. We believe in the Triune God consisting of the Father; the Son, Jesus Christ; and the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, and healing are for His people today. Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. We believe the Church is the Body of Christ and whose purpose is to take the Gospel to all men and make disciples of them. Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church; who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have preeminence. We believe a marriage is a unity between one (1) man and one (1) woman according to Matthew 19:5. Matthew 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and they twain shall be one flesh? Ephesians 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be flesh.
